These are sandcast glass tube beads in the Akoso style. They were made in Ghana from pulverized glass inblue, brown and white. The molten glass is poured into a clay mold shaped like tubes. These are beautiful beadsand will add a wonderful ethnic look to your jewelry. The Ghanaians have been making beads in this manner since the 1600s. Circa 1970's
